The VAST Builders Challenge
The VAST Builders Challenge is a three-city technical event series bringing together engineers and builders across New York, London, and San Francisco to build production-ready AI systems. Hosted in collaboration with CoreWeave, SpaceXAI, NVIDIA, and Weights & Biases.
Applications are required. Space is limited. Registration closes one week prior to the event.

3 Cities, 3 Events

Builders Challenge San Francisco
Friday, October 2
Experiment with the latest AI infrastructure, collaborate with fellow AI builders, and turn ideas into working applications.

Builders Challenge New York
Friday, October 9
Join New York's AI developer community for a hands-on build challenge. Learn, experiment, and turn your ideas into working AI applications.

Builders Challenge London
Saturday, October 17
Bring your AI ideas to life in London. Build alongside fellow developers, explore new AI technologies, and compete to see what you can create.
Spend the day building agents to unlock the value of video. Because video is hard to search and analyze, most of it stays in storage, unwatched and underused. Experiment with the latest AI infrastructure, collaborate with other ambitious builders, and turn ideas into working prototypes; with access to expert guidance, compute, and the tools you need to ship.
Agenda
8:30am - Doors Open + Breakfast
9:00am - Opening Remarks
9:30am - Build Begins
12:30pm - Lunch
4:30pm - Demos
6:30pm - Closing & Awards
The Builders Stack
Building agent workloads at scale is not the fun part. We did the heavy lifting, ingestion, pipeline, and model serving, so you can spend the day building, not configuring. Here's what you get out of the box: deployed, running, and ready to build on and scale, all powered by VAST AI OS:
Video understanding: reason over a video clip with NVIDIA Cosmos.
Semantic search: find moments across hours of footage using natural language.
Object detection: real-time detection and tracking across frames with YOLO.
General-purpose LLMs: models from Weights & Biases to power your application logic (e.g. video agents).
Who should attend?
Individuals are welcome, but we encourage teams of up to four members and will prioritize team applications. You can form a team on the day of the event or arrive with one already assembled.
