Sven Breuner

Sven is Field CTO International at VAST Data, where he works closely with the company’s largest global customers to design data strategies that fully leverage the advanced capabilities and performance of the VAST platform. Sven began his career building solutions for performance-critical distributed systems as the creator of BeeGFS, the Fraunhofer parallel file system. In 2020, he developed elbencho (a unified file and object storage benchmarking tool to replace fio, iozone, ior and mdtest and even test throughput to GPUs). In 2022, he received HPCwire's "Person to Watch" award.
