Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan is the Senior Director of Infrastructure Engineering at Lowe’s, where he leads the teams responsible for data center operations, compute platforms, storage systems, and mainframe infrastructure. Over the past year, Dan architected and launched Lowe’s first AI Factory - a high-performance, on-premises GPU platform purpose-built to support generative AI, digital twin simulation, and advanced analytics workloads. Dan joined Lowe’s 18 months ago from NVIDIA, where he had partnered with leading global financial institutions to accelerate their AI and data infrastructure strategies across use cases including real-time fraud detection, predictive risk modeling, and customer intelligence. He brings deep experience in AI-centric compute architecture, scalable storage, hybrid-cloud enablement, and data center modernization. Born and raised in New York City, Dan now lives in the Charlotte area with his wife and two teenage daughters
