Senior Systems Administrator Nic Lewis of the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) will discuss how TACC is modernizing its storage infrastructure to meet the reliability and performance demands of today’s HPC systems while supporting rapidly evolving AI workloads. A long-time Lustre user, TACC identified Lustre-related incidents as the leading source of system downtime and operational disruption. By deploying VAST Data, TACC has dramatically reduced this primary downtime driver, improving overall system availability and simplifying operations at scale.
