Senior Director of Alliances

We are building a dream team at VAST Data. We have one of the hottest products in one of the largest segments of the IT industry. 

To grow the company we need to form alliances with systems integrators, partners and OEM’s. This role has an opportunity to make a direct impact on a company with a product poised to disrupt a $50+ Billion Dollar Industry.

 

The Senior Director of Alliances will report to the company’s President and will be responsible for the strategy, direction and leadership of VAST’s alliance programs and relationships. As VAST Data’s head of alliances – you will develop, drive and grow the global alliance strategy to enable the VAST Data go-to-market effort and create a 1+1=3 effect toward a global potential customer base. The Senior Director is a supporting function to the global go-to-market effort and will work across the company with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to execute a fully integrated global strategy. The Director will be responsible for defining alliance targets (ISVs, OEMs and Sis) as well as working with sales management to develop a complementary sales and channel strategy.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overall alliance strategy for the field and company globally

Work with key ISV partners (data protection, virtualization, database, big data and more…)

Work with leading HW platform partners (compute, networking) to align selling motions and product roadmaps

Work with leading SIs who focus on VAST-optimized use cases (federal integrators, global integrators, etc.)

Collaborate with sales leaders and channel partners to create new revenue opportunities

Establish quarterly performance tracking for alliance partners to achieve the mutual objectives

Train alliance partners globally on the combined value proposition of VAST and the alliance partner

Lead co-selling opportunities with the partners

Requirements:

5+ years of alliance experience

A proven history of working with technology partners to drive incremental revenue streams

5+ years of management experience is preferred

A track record of recruiting and developing world class talent
